The classic tokusatsu series "GoGo Sentai Boukenger," which first aired in 2006, has reached a significant milestone, marking its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, Bandai has officially announced the launch of a flagship transformation device designed for adult collectors: ACCELLULAR -MEMORIAL EDITION-. This product not only faithfully recreates the classic transformation device held by the protagonists in the show but also features a stunning upgrade in its internal structure, light and shadow effects, and sound and light interaction.
Recreating the Show's Impact: MEMORIAL EDITION's Core Technological Breakthroughs
While the previous DX version toys were classic, they were limited by the technology of their time in expressing the "engine rotation" and "spark explosion" sensations during transformation. The new ACCELLULAR MEMORIAL EDITION brings several technological breakthroughs in this regard:
- Physical Vibration Motor Linkage: A high-speed physical vibration motor is newly integrated internally. When the player presses the transformation button and activates the engine sound effects, the entire Accelerator Phone vibrates in real-time with the engine's roar, providing a highly realistic and impactful tactile experience.
- LED Turbine Spark Light Effect: Multiple sets of high-brightness LED lights are arranged inside the turbine. When the turbine rotation sound effect plays, the LED lights flash at an extremely high frequency, perfectly recreating the visual effect of sparks flying (Sparks) as the turbine rotates in the show.
- Rich Dialogue and Original BGM Included: Built-in classic dialogue voice lines and battle sound effects of the main characters from the show, as well as multiple representative background music (BGM) tracks, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the world of Boukenger when operating the transformation device.
