Eligibility: Currently, we only accept graded cards that have been evaluated and encapsulated by recognized grading companies, with a recommended selling price of HK$1,000 or more per card. Final acceptance will be determined based on the grading company, card and encapsulation condition, market demand, and operational arrangements.

Accepted Graded Cards for Consignment

  • K-POP Korean star cards and TELECA graded cards

Consignment Commission and Settlement

The cash payout is calculated independently based on the actual selling price of each card. The table below shows the proportion of the cash amount collectible by the consignor, after deducting the standard consignment commission. Standard services include receipt recording, standard photography/scanning, online shop listing, in-store display, customer inquiries, and general payment processing.

Payout Example: Selling price HK$5,000, cash payout HK$4,400.

  • Standard Consignment Period: 60 days from the notification of listing; can be renewed once for 30 days with mutual written agreement.
  • Price Adjustment: If the consignor proposes a price adjustment and provides complete instructions, we will update it within 2 business days after confirming receipt of the instructions. Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, and Hong Kong public holidays; cards that have been sold, reserved by buyers, or are currently being paid for/processed cannot be retroactively repriced.
  • Listing Arrangement: The listing time, display location in stores/online, sorting, exposure channels, and promotional arrangements for consigned cards are ultimately determined by MOONROAD based on card condition, market demand, overall display, and operational arrangements; specific listing dates, display locations, or exposure times are not guaranteed.
  • Cash Settlement: After the transaction funds have been settled and there are no outstanding valid disputes, payment is usually made via FPS within 7 business days.
  • Shipping fees, insurance fees, or other fees listed separately from the card price paid by the buyer are not included in the transaction price.
  • Any non-standard third-party authentication, special shipping, or insurance fees must be agreed upon in writing by the consignor in advance.

Consignment Process (Three Steps)

  1. Request an estimate: Fill out the online consignment application form, or send card photos and information to us via Instagram or WhatsApp for a free preliminary estimate.
  2. Agree on terms and handover: After confirming the consignment price, duration, and cash settlement terms, visit our Hong Kong store to hand over the cards. The cards will be counted, inspected, and recorded on the spot. Separate handover arrangements are available for Macau collectors.
  3. Listing and settlement: MOONROAD determines the listing time, display location, channels, sorting, and promotional pace based on card condition, market demand, and operational arrangements. After the card is sold, the consignor will be notified, and cash settlement will be arranged.

How is the cash payout calculated?

The cash payout is calculated on a tiered basis according to the actual selling price of each card: 85% payout for cards sold between HK$1,000 and HK$1,999.99; 88% payout for cards sold between HK$2,000 and HK$9,999.99; and 90% payout for cards sold at HK$10,000 or more. There are no hidden fees, except for additional services agreed upon in writing by the consignor in advance.

Can I change the consignment price?

Yes. Upon receiving complete price adjustment instructions from the consignor, we will update the price within 2 business days. Cards that have already been sold, reserved by buyers, or are currently being paid for/processed cannot be retroactively repriced.

When and where will consigned cards be listed?

MOONROAD will determine the listing time, display location in stores/online, sorting, exposure channels, and promotional pace based on card condition, market demand, overall display, and operational arrangements. Therefore, specific dates, locations, or exposure times are not guaranteed.

Can unsold cards be retrieved?

Yes. Cards can be retrieved after the consignment period expires or by mutual agreement.

Can Macau collectors consign cards?

Yes. Macau and overseas collectors are welcome to contact us via DM first, and we will explain the handover arrangements.
