CYBERPUNK TCG NEWS／2026-09-04
Direct Answer: SAKA SAKA announced on September 4, 2026, that it has become the official distributor of Cyberpunk TCG in Hong Kong, and Saka Saka has been listed under Hong Kong on the official Cyberpunk TCG retailer page. Hong Kong simultaneously previewed that the "Welcome to Night City Beta Event" will be held in October 2026, but as of September 4, the actual date, location, quota, fees, and registration methods have not yet been announced. This October arrangement for Hong Kong differs from the official global Beta Event window of September 10-20 and should not be confused.
TL;DR: What do Hong Kong players need to know right now?
- Hong Kong official distributor confirmed: SAKA SAKA's official announcement and the Cyberpunk TCG official distributor list corroborate each other.
- Hong Kong Beta Event month only confirmed: The event is expected to take place in October 2026, but the actual date and registration method have not yet been announced.
- Do not copy global dates: The Cyberpunk TCG official guide lists September 10-20 as the official window for the global Beta Event; SAKA SAKA's announced arrangement for Hong Kong is in October.
- MOONROAD supply not confirmed in this article: This article does not imply that MOONROAD has stock, accepts pre-orders, has obtained distribution rights, or is involved in organizing.

What did the Cyberpunk TCG Hong Kong official distributor announce?
SAKA SAKA announced on its official Instagram on September 4 that the brand has officially become the Cyberpunk TCG Hong Kong official distributor. Moving forward, it will provide product, retail, and event information, and promote the Hong Kong player community. The Cyberpunk TCG official website's list of distribution partners also lists "Saka Saka" under "Hong Kong," so the question of "who is the Hong Kong distributor" is supported by two pieces of first-party information, not just social media rumors.
The same announcement previewed that the "Welcome to Night City Beta Event" will land in Hong Kong in October. This is currently the most specific local event signal, but the announcement did not specify the venue, organizing store, daily sessions, age of participation, kit contents, registration platform, or fees. Players seeing "October" can keep an eye out for updates but should not independently infer a specific weekend, nor should they inquire about quotas from un-named stores.
For MOONROAD readers, the most important thing is to clarify the roles: SAKA SAKA is the announced Hong Kong official distributor; this article is a news summary and beginner's guide based on official information. Whether MOONROAD will list products, open pre-orders, or participate in events must await store product pages or official announcements.
Why is the global Beta window in September, but Hong Kong's is in October?
The Cyberpunk TCG official Beta Event Guide defines the global Beta Event as a sealed Swiss tournament held between September 10 and 20, 2026; however, SAKA SAKA's Hong Kong announcement clearly states October. The safest and most accurate understanding of both is that the official global event window and the local Hong Kong arrangement are not the same. Before a detailed Hong Kong announcement is made, it is not advisable to assume that Hong Kong will adopt the same global schedule, kit allocation, or registration deadlines.
| Information Level | Announced Time | How to Understand |
|---|---|---|
| Cyberpunk TCG Official Global Guide | September 10–20, 2026 | Global Beta Event guidelines and retailer operational window, not the Hong Kong event date. |
| SAKA SAKA Hong Kong Announcement | October 2026 | Local Hong Kong preview; actual date, location, and registration methods to be announced. |
This distinction also helps searchers avoid outdated or cross-regional information: when searching for "Cyberpunk TCG Hong Kong Beta Event," SAKA SAKA's subsequent Hong Kong announcements should be used as the local reference; if you want to understand the official gameplay, kits, and tournament format, then refer to the Cyberpunk TCG global guide.
How will the Welcome to Night City Beta Event be played?
The following is the official global Beta Guide for Cyberpunk TCG, not the final terms for the Hong Kong October event. The official Beta Event is designed as a sealed deck Swiss tournament, where players open packs and build decks on the spot using the event kit to familiarize themselves with the rules in a more relaxed way. The official guide recommends best-of-3 matches, each round 50 minutes; the actual number of rounds will be adjusted based on the number of participants.
What does the official global Beta Event Kit include?
- 6 Welcome to Night City Beta booster packs
- 3 random Legend promo cards
- 1 guaranteed "Mantis Blades" Full Art Beta Stamped promo card
- 1 set of 6 polyhedral dice, including d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20
How to build an official global sealed deck?
The main deck must have at least 30 non-Legend cards, with a maximum of 3 colors; the Legend section must have exactly 3 cards. Cards opened on the spot but not included in the main deck can be used as a sideboard, interchangeable between matches, but must still comply with deck building rules after replacement. As the details of the Hong Kong event have not yet been announced, participants should not assume that the local configuration will be exactly the same; official participants should still refer to the announcements made by the Hong Kong organizers before the event.

How can Hong Kong players prepare now?
1. Follow Hong Kong announcements, don't just look at overseas calendars
Remember the purpose of the two date sets: September 10-20 is for understanding the global Beta program; Hong Kong is only confirmed for October. Registration, venue, and participation terms should be based on local announcements from SAKA SAKA or the named organizing stores.
2. Familiarize yourself with basic rules using official tutorials
The official Beta Guide links to How to Play videos, Gameplay Guide, tip sheets, and Comprehensive Rules. Newcomers can first grasp the turn flow, card resources, and sealed deck building concepts; these preparations do not require assuming successful registration for the Hong Kong event.
3. Check the real-time product page before buying
Beta boosters, event kits, official retail versions, and promos are not the same product. When seeing overseas unboxing or retail news, you need to verify the version, language, packaging, sales region, and store terms item by item. MOONROAD's supply status can only be confirmed by the product page accessible at the time and official announcements.
