The purpose of a Trial Deck has always been "open and play immediately". A 50-card deck is already a complete playable deck, coming with a quick manual, deck explanation book, and a playmat – for new players, this is the lowest friction way to get into the game.
What's most noteworthy about this "Stella Sora" Trial Deck is: each 50-card deck is guaranteed to include 2 TDP or TDSP cards. There are 20 types of TDP (planned); TDSP are 3 types of voice actor signed cards (planned) – signed cards are always a collector's item in these Trial Decks, but because they are random, there's no guarantee you'll pull one.

Booster Packs contain 8 cards per pack, with 10 packs per box. The card composition is 100 normal cards + 100+ parallel foil cards (officially marked as tentative). Having more types of foil cards than normal cards is a recent trend in Weiss Schwarz, meaning it's quite challenging to collect all parallel cards.

Bonus Tiers: Pack, Box, Carton

Practical implications:
- Buy one box — You are guaranteed to get 1 PR card, but it's random from 24 types, so you'll need multiple boxes to complete the set.
- Buy a whole carton (12 boxes) — 12 box PR cards + 1 carton-exclusive PR card. The 10 types of carton PR cards cannot be obtained by simply buying boxes – this is the only substantial difference for buying a whole carton.
- SR/SP/Signed Cards — All random, no official rates announced, and no box pull guarantee.
Some people say "a box guarantees a few SPs" or similar, but that's personal experience, not a manufacturer's promise. What the manufacturer truly guarantees in writing are only the two rows in the table above.
