"Z/X -Zillions of enemy X-" IG16 "Unison Dream" New Pack Highlights Analysis
Ignition Pack 16 "Unison Dream" focuses on showcasing the latest developments in the "Z/X" world's plot and card mechanisms. Whether you are a player who follows the storyline or one who pursues card strength and collection value, this booster pack offers several unmissable features:
- New Enemy Faction Appears: Nove, a special agent from the Historical Forbidden Matter Management Organization "SQ118," and her partner Verita make their debut.
- Unique Post-Attack Transformation Mechanic: The "Nove & Verita" card set primarily uses red and black strategies, transforming into Links via special Z/X Extra cards after attacks, greatly increasing deployment versatility and pressure.
- Two-Player "Co-op Cards": Breaking the limitations of single-player cards, this pack includes classic combinations such as "Fierite & Fosphlam" and "Sieger & Almotahr," which can be flexibly used by two different player decks.
- Diverse Rare Tiers and Rarities: Includes all 70 basic cards, as well as gold foil stamped Holo parallel cards, enhancing the overall enjoyment of opening and drawing cards.
"Nove & Verita" New Faction and Co-op Card System Mechanics
In "Unison Dream," the newly introduced character "Nove" is a cold alchemist who stands against the protagonists, while her partner "Verita" is an inorganic creature that can be freely re-formed into various shapes (categorized into systems such as "Daydream," "Red Chamber Dream," and "Black and White Dream"). In terms of card mechanics, players can utilize the new "Unison Drive" and Life Recovery support cards to build a red and black mixed deck that combines explosive power with control capabilities.
Furthermore, the "Co-op Cards" in this pack introduce new strategic considerations to the battle environment. Previously, specific partner Z/Xs could only be used by specific player decks, but "Co-op Cards" allow both related characters to activate smoothly, significantly increasing players' freedom and combination possibilities when building themed decks.
Rarity Distribution and Luxurious Gold Foil Holo Processing
For players who love collecting rare cards, IG16 continues the highly acclaimed high-spec processing techniques:
- N (Normal) / R (Rare) Gold Foil Parallel Versions: Standard N cards (20 types) and R cards (10 types) both have exclusive gold foil + Holo stamped parallel versions.
- SR (Super Rare) and SSR (Super Special Rare): Includes 15 types of SR cards (also with gold foil Holo versions) and 9 new SSR Punisher cards, distributed across various color domains.
- Re-recorded Popular Cards: Specially includes 10 selected Re-print R cards, making it easy for both new and old players to complete key strategic components.
